April Vacation Week Art Programs for High School Students
Our Summer Holiday Programs are here!
Students inbound grades 1-7 spend Schoolhouse Vacations immersed in the arts. New Art'southward programs are designed for students interested in developing skills, creativity, and self expression at any ability level. Each calendar week will be packed with possibilities, imagination, and fun as students explore 4 exciting activities each solar day: 2D, 3D, performing arts, and dirt.

Program Overview
Spend your March, April, and Summer Vacations immersed in the arts! Each week will exist packed with possibilities, imagination, and fun as students explore iv exciting activities each mean solar day based on the week'due south theme. Students will be divided into groups by grade. All materials will be provided. Register for one or more weeks.
Drawing, Painting, 2D
Stimulate the creative process and heighten visual skills! Fine art techniques in cartoon, painting, and printmaking are taught using a variety of media including watercolor, acrylic, pastel, collage, or mixed media.
Sculpture, 3D
Create unique and imaginative sculptures! Explore such topics as 3D design, fiber arts, bookmaking, newspaper mache, and aggregation, using traditional and non-traditional materials.
Clay
Create in clay! Using air dry clay, learn handbuilding techniques including coiling, pinching, and sculpting.
Performing Arts
Each class offers stimulating group games and performance opportunities. Students experiment with pantomime, improvisation, ensemble work, movement, and character creation.
Each day participate in 4 activities with new and exciting projects, perfect for all feel levels. Every week has a theme that projects and performances are based on. No two weeks are the same! We group students past grade and maintain a high teacher-to-educatee ratio. Annals for 1 or more weeks.
Ceramics
Create in dirt! Using white stoneware clay, larn handbuilding techniques including coiling, pinching and sculpting. I-twenty-four hours workshops explore air-dry out clay, while vacation workshops volition be glazed and fired.
Cartoon, Painting, 2nd
Stimulate the creative process and enhance visual skills! Art techniques in drawing, painting, and printmaking are taught using a multifariousness of media including watercolor, acrylic, pastel, collage or mixed media.
Sculpture, 3D
Create unique and imaginative sculptures! Explore such topics as 3D design, fiber arts, bookmaking, paper mache, and assemblage, using traditional and non-traditional materials.

Each form offers stimulating grouping games and performance opportunities. Students experiment with pantomime, improvisation, ensemble work, move and character creation.
Sample Schedule
Students should bring a lunch, two snacks, and a water canteen. We take refilling stations to replenish h2o throughout the 24-hour interval.

Things to Know
- Participants must bring a luncheon and ii snacks each day. No nuts or peanuts please.
- Emergency form deadline is 2 weeks before the start date. You will receive a link via electronic mail.
- All materials provided; all levels welcome
- There will be supervised outdoor time in Washington Park and New Art'due south grounds, weather permitting
- Wear comfy clothes that you practise not listen getting dirty!

SUMMER EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS
Can't brand the four PM pick up time? Accept a teen who won't be done until 5 PM? Add on our Extended Day programme and bump back your pick upwardly time! This option is great for parents with children in both the teen and children'south programs, drive a long mode with traffic, work during the day, or just can't make it for four PM!
